The Baltimore Immigration Court window hours are: 7:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. There is no drop box for after hours filing.
Important Tips About the Baltimore Immigration Court
- The Baltimore Immigration Court is located on the fourth floor of the Fallon Federal Building. Everyone entering the Fallon Federal Building is required to pass through a metal detector, present a photo I.D. and wear a visitor’s badge while in the building. Please make sure that you arrive early enough for your hearing to allow time to pass through security.
- The Department of Homeland Security is also located in the Fallon Federal Building. Application fees are paid on the first floor and documents for the DHS Trial Attorneys can be filed on the 7th floor.
- Bonds can be paid with the DHS Detention and Deportation office located on the 6th floor of the Fallon Federal Building.
- You should not bring food or drinks into the reception area or courtrooms.
- Public telephones are located in the lobby of the Fallon Federal Building.
- Children must be chaperoned and supervised at all times. Unless your children are needed for your immigration hearing, it would be best to not bring them to court if at all possible. If in doubt, ask your immigration attorney whether your children need to be present for your immigration hearing.
- Remember that the Baltimore Immigration Court is a federal court and proper attire is required. Improper attire includes: t-shirts, shorts, sandals, hats, halter tops, etc. Your immigration attorney can give you more details on what you should wear for your hearing.
- There are a variety of sandwich shops and restaurants near the immigration court.
- The court is located at the Charles Center (Metro) station.
- If you prefer to drive, there is public parking in the area.
