Important Tips About the Arlington Immigration Court
- Public restrooms are located on the ground floor of the building. To gain access to the restrooms, let building security know that you are there for a hearing at the immigration court. Building security will provide you a key to the public restrooms.
- Food and drinks are not allowed in the reception area or courtrooms.
- Operational cell phones and audible pagers or beepers are not allowed in the court.
- Children must be chaperoned and supervised at all times. Unless your children are needed for your immigration hearing, it would be best to not bring them to court if at all possible. If in doubt, ask your immigration attorney whether your children need to be present for your immigration hearing.
- Remember that the Arlington Immigration Court is a federal court and proper attire is required. Improper attire includes: t-shirts, shorts, sandals, hats, halter tops, etc. Your immigration attorney can give you more details on what you should wear for your hearing.
- There are a variety of sandwich shops and restaurants near the immigration court.
- The court is located at the Ballston Orange Line Metro station.
- If you prefer to drive, there is public parking in the area.
